U can get minnows west of 288, bout a 1/2 mile on ur left. Its next to a tire shop. If you fish the ol train tracks fish the ledge. Ive been fishing a few holes and pulling a dozen. Its shallow. Find a deep drop off after a shallow ledge. Throw it on the ledge and drag it off. I got my limit both fri n sat. HoPE it helps!!!

I thought I'd go ahead and give this this thread a bump.
I stopped by the south side of the 380 bridge today to wet my line and see how low the water was. To my surprise, the water wasn't terribly low, (within a foot of last years spawn levels) and had some flow from Ray Roberts (I think they released a bit recently). Looking forward to the run this year if we can get some rain in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks Don for the report I sure hope the water is fishable I like parking and launching my 2 man bass boat and go up north and fish some of the nice holes up stream when the run is on its easy to find fish.
Don't forget all as this weather warms up so do the snakes!

Where do you put your boat in and how far is it to the river from the launch? Just curious if that might be a better spot to put my kayak in rather than the park on 380.

The park on 380 is what I use and also 458 but the incline of the ramp is steep.
