I went to Lavon last sunday the 13th and limited out in 2 and a half to 3 and a half feet while wadeing with jigs. Went back this past saturday and caught one. Were they not on their beds or were they just in looking for their beds when I caught them? All I know is that high winds plus cold fronts equals bad spawn.

If it has anything to do with fins, feathers, or fur im in

A buddy of mine says the temp is almost 10 colder than it was a week ago. That's pushed em back out deeper.

Shallow water according to 'Yak'. "Still shallow. Anywhere from 4' to 6' under bridge over to the edge of rip rap in sand. Heard People say that the spawn is over atThis lake but notice the eggs. They've slowed on spawn but not over."

I've been limiting often for month in the same spot. Caught a limit this afternoon in the same 12' of water. More females today then before. 66 degree water. Mid lake. Hope this helps.
