What is the best product, in yalls opinion, to clean the surface of the cabinets and walls with prior to painting? Thanks.

TSP. Tri Sodium Phosphate You can get it at real paint stores. It is pretty caustic so wear waterproof gloves. A lot of places sell a TSP replacement product. My experience is that it doesn't work as well.
