Yep left mine laying on the deck, there gone! If do go get another pair what lenses do most prefer for clear water. Or would y'all recommend another brand? Thanks, Expensive lesson about being in a hurry.

I would go with Maui Jim's. I believe the overall quality is better. I like the amber lenses.

This is the lesson I learned when lost my last pair or expensive glasses. I replaced them with Costas and use this everywhere I go.

Just curious, what water are you fishing that is clear? There isn't any clear water in Texas unless you get up to Texoma!

I have the 580G in Amber. I can say for clear to slightly stained water, these work really well for me. Sucks to hear that you lost them, as they are quite expensive. I bought the Cablz eyeglass retainers, and whenever I get on the water or before I get on the water, I put them on, and if they are not on my face, they are around my neck. Cheap insurance to where they will not fly off or I leave them some where http://www.cablz.com/

Amphibia, are great glasses. For the $, Amphibia's are great glasses and Comfortable. I have Costa Zane's w/ 580g Blue, Costa Harpoon's w/ 580g green, and Maui Jim's. Although, the Costa 580 glass is the top of the line lenses ( IMO ), the Amphibia "Genesis" is really good for $129.

Ouch that was an expesive loss. the quality optical glass lenses are worth it, I believe for the quality of the product and long life -glass lenses are very scratch resistant- I always use a strap so when I take mine off they hang down and are always at hand and never left behind.Amber lenses work best for me all around really good for cloudy days and low light. I do like the green mirrors too, but found fishing many hours in intense sun the mirrors can reflect alot of sun on your nose. Idealy amber for low light, and or grey green for bright sunlight 2 pairs $$$ so I go with amber, Good Luck to ya and use a lanyard on em!

Maui Jims are a fine product, Ocean Waves as well and others to me the key is glass lenses and a good fit.
