I work right down the road from the creek at 377 and 170, and during the day I drove past and saw there were some folks fishing there still. I'd figured the creek was winding down, but I had a couple of hours to kill after work so I stopped in to chunk a jig for a bit. Ended up leaving with 15 nice fish on the stringer, best two hours I spent all day.
-------- Fish ON!

Buzzard, I caught around a dozen last night. Mostly males. Caught two females. One her eggs sack was swollen, bloody, and bout too pop. One female had already dropped them. Huge empty space by the shrunken guts where there should be eggs/sperm. Won't be long and they'll all be back to the lake.

Went today got nothing. Jigs and roadrunners and white roster tail. Did see some stringers of 20 or so they was netting shad and using them for bait. For the first time in 2.5 years I got checked by a game warden it was ok she was kinda easy on the eyes LOL.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

She is very light in the forgiveness department and heavy in the citation department. She is nice but if anything is not right.....

Do you think the creek still has some sandies? Sure I bet it has them but how much well good luck! Some hard looking I bet will find them me I think its time to get rather in the boat or find a good place on the bank for maybe some cat fishing.
