Thew Lew's and Winch are both excellent reels and I think you'd be happy with either. Both are light,a nice size, and will not wear you out after a full day of cranking. I especially like the larger paddle handles on the Lew's, it makes it easier to maintain your grip.

I just got a Chronarch E5. Absolutely love it. Smoothest Shimano and reel I have ever used. It is lightweight and casts far. I cranked all day and my arms and wrist did not hurt as it usually does with other reels. Love it, love it, love it!

Take a look at the Lew's Super Duty if you are throwing the 6XD and 10XD!

I've been very happy with my johnny morris carbon black 5.3:1 reel. Not a big name brand but it handles big cranks well and hasnt lost anything on smoothness so far.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.
