Currently using trilene big game line on most my reels, been wondering about switching any ideas? Will be bass fishing using spinners cranks worms...the normal just figure there's something out there better

Nothing wrong with Trilene big game, but I tried P-line CX Premium several years ago and have stayed with it because it is good stuff. Handles like mono but has an outer coating of fluorocarbon so it has low visibility under water. I like clear blue florescent because it helps me see it above water. I use KVD line conditioner which helps it have less memory. 15# on baitcasting and 12# on spinning.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Its never mentioned on here but look at the website: Bull Buster Line, made in Florida and great product and pricing, you buy from factory direct, just watch the shipping charges closely.
This is very good line.

I prefer 30# PowerPro on all my baits that are likely to become hung requiring more strength to break the lure loose.

30# is the equivalent of 8# mono.

If you are concerned about the visibility of the line, you can always use a fluoro leader 2' in length. Seaguar Premier in 15# has the same diameter as the 30# PowerPro, both are .011.

Together they make a great combination.

It depends what you are trying to accomplish...A mono that may handle a bit better with moving baits? Something more sensitive for bottom baits. Then there is the braid world. There are a lot of good lines on the market..just really depends what you want to accomplish. You can use 1 line for everything, but in today's line market, there are more and more specialized product that excels for certain techniques...My first recommenation might be to try a quality flourocarbon for your bottom baits to see how you like the increased sensitivity it will provide.
