Hey guys. Anybody had any luck catching crappie from the bank on any of these lakes? Don't have a boat so Im bank fishing. I have been out to both in the past couple of weeks and didn't get a bite. Tried 380 bridge on Lavon and Hwy 66 on Hubbard with no luck. Fished both jigs and minnows. Going to go out this weekend and try it again. Anyone have any tips? Any info would be much appreciated.
Now that's a mess of good eatin!

1-6 ft of water. They r spawning in the rocks 1.5 deep or so.
And all standing timber. Wade around some shallow areas and hit all the stucture u can see. If you sink more than 6 inches, find a new cove with firmer ground. They need to fan down to the gravel to lay the eggs. If the silt is to deep for them, they will find another place with less mud to fan down. The cold front pushed them out a bit.

north of 380 is very shallow. Don't fish too deep, only about 1 ft and half. It's a little hard 'cause they can be anywhere and still in shallow. Took this pic when a guy waded more than 100 yards in the water.

Wow, 12bang. That really illustrates how shallow it is.
