No, but I've used the gamagaktsu or what ever EWG 3/0 super line hooks. They are pretty dang good. Only issue is the line slipping out of the eye.

Four replies and only one is relevant to the original questions.
I'm not a product pusher like most of these guys. I have NO affiliation with any company. I try anything I can get my hands on and VMC is the only brand of hooks I use now with the exception of drop shot and wacky. I believe they are the best value out there. Never had a problem with them

Anyone ever try the widegap heavy duty worm hooks wonderinsg the pros and cons? I use them. Seem to have a good hook up ratio, better than some other ones I've used. I don't really have any cons. I also have some of the wide gap hooks they have for drop shot. I haven't had an occasion to try them yet.

Never had a problem with them when it comes to hooks I use whatever works for that situation. I have Gama, Trokar, VMC, Owner, RI,Mustad and Academy brand hooks in the boat right now.

Hope you don't think I was bad mouthing you....you actually gave an answer to the question he was asking. You're one of the few on here that I actually put value to what you recommend.

I appreciate that but I have recciomended my share of duds too.....LOL...actually the VMCs are a tad cheaper so I started using them and so far I cannot say one bad word about them. They make some good EWGs too.
