This is what TFF is all about.
Kudos to Carey for being informative as always! Good stuffs for all, novice or not so novice!!!

It is his opinion.. all can observe and use per his guideline or think outside of the box. To each his own...Thanks for sharing.

I've had some of my best days fishing when the pressure has been super high. Just last winter the pressure was 30.94 and caught a limit of BIG CRAPPIE, on Texoma, in 10 feet of water. MB can attest to this.

Really low pressure too! CV and I were on Arlington one spring and caught a double limit of nice fish, on docks in a rainstorm.

Just go fish when you can fish. If I had a guide tell me we are canceling a trip because of barometric pressure I would never rebook or fish with that guide again.

Thanks for the explanation! I've been following the air pressure like you said, and it's been pretty spot on!

Appreciate all the info and know- how this newbie can get here. Now I know why we weren't catching the last couple weeks. Very unsettled weather. Trying again next Friday. On a side note, wonder if it affects Pacific Ocean fishing? My brother didn't get squat last week.

You know I just don't understand how people comment in a negative manner about someone else's post. If you have had the luxury of fishing with Carey,Alex,TarponFly you know you have walked away a better fisherman. You know your catch rate & species rate has increased because of the info he has taught you in 4hrs. I may not post a lot on this forum but I sure get a wealth of knowledge from this site. Carey keep up the good work. If you can't use the knowledge don't attempt to discredit someone else knowledge. Carey don't get Stuck trying to comment on hater posts thanks to you I am Fishnaholot better. Thanks
