Do you put the drops of colorants before or after heating the plastic? I know that flourescent you're supposed to do before but when using normal colors I've heard if you put them before it will be a more translucent color. Is that true? I'm trying to start pouring and I don't want all my baits to be a solid looking color.

Fluorescent is a must to put in first and don't try to add more after it is heated because it will just fragment into small glitter size drops of solid color. As for regular colors I put in after heated. Do an experiment and see if you can tell the difference. The more color you put in the darker or more true to the color you see in the bottle it will be. If you use a few drops of watermelon it will be lighter and more translucent then if you used 10.
