I will be on Fork today, with the Crappie guys, Dutch and Stubby. pray they let me bass fish some. Should be a good time tho

should I come "rescue" you? I will, gladly, just say the word.
tell your captors I will come armed with revos/verittas in heavy action so if they want a fight with those wimpy lil crappie rods just bring it.

It may be a little past the time period but on Fork sometimes crappie fishing can result in some great bass catching. Always be on guard. Good luck.

Ha, one of the biggest crappie I have ever caught picked up a black and blue 3/8 jig I pitched to a stump top about 16" under the surface on Fork. Good luck

but I have heard that live crappie do make good big bass bait

Just watch for TPWD an put a 8inch crappie on a 2/0 circle hook and drop er down and hang on
