with slow moving baits like flukes or senkos i outfish my buddy 2 to 1 on fluoro

combinination of better feel due to less line stretch and I do think its harder to see.

he finally switched on slower baits and we are even again. Just like a lure I use different lines for different applications.

makes a lot bigger difference in clear water lake than it does in a lot of TX lakes that are typically stained or off color. Go to Tablerock and fish jerkbaits with 10 foot visibility with mono and you'll get out-fished by the guy with fluorocarbon.

Exactly what I was thinking - In the stained water around here a Lo vis green is less visible than most of the flourocarbon lines and in muddy water - who cares - I use the flourocarbon for bottom baits (jigs - worms) and crankbaits (less stretch, more sensitivity and it sinks) - I use mono for topwaters and traps. The extra stretch keeps me from ripping the bait away from the bass.
