Don't see a lot of talk about Toledo Bend on here. I have not been there in close to 10 years. any ideas? I'm staying at Holly Park Marina. I see the water is less than 2 feet below pool, but what can y'all tell me?

I just got back home from fishing Toledo....it is good fishing shallow near the shoreline for small keepers and some bigger bass a little deeper in 8-12 ft. I stayed in Six Mile fishing the bank with a Fluke and had a blast catching lots of 2 lbers. The cloud cover might have helped me, not sure, but they hit the Fluke very good. My biggest was near 6 lbs in 2-3 ft...fun stuff. Best color for me was Mardi Gras....not sure it mattered.

I went mid-March and did ok but bass mostly small. Holly Park was great. Love the covered boat slips.

Toledo is in as good a shape as any lake out there. It took over 28lbs to win last 2 bassnbucks tournaments.
