I read that sunline fc sniper has a little lower stretch then invizx so I ordered some to try.
This afternoon I got it in the mail and went to spool it on and noticed the label has a built in label to stick on your reel/rod. Now I'll never have to wonder what stinking line I have on my rods! Brilliant marketing!

Wow, now I won't need duct tape and a sharpie to figure it out. Wish all lines did that.

I've personally never understood that. My rods only get certain line on them period. Makes my guesswork down to zero. For example my 7' MH bucoo only ever has 50lb braid and my 7'6" Kistler KLX Heavy only runs 25 invisix. You will never find anything else on those two rods

I have 14 rods in my boat and I know what line everyone of them has on it.
I guess I am not good for the "label industry"

I've always purchased the small stick on labels. Those that are about 1/2" wide and 3/8" tall. I cut those in half and stick them on the side plate of the reel. Just beneath the drag housing on the bottom of the sp. On that I write # test, brand and type of line.
15MaxMo, for instance. Or 25SG. 50SB.

I'm sure everyone has a system that works for them, I just thought it was a nice touch from a manufacturer. Not claiming it is the be all end all of great ideas just a cool and useful idea.

The Sunline that they sell at Academy for around $14 is pure garbage! The only reason I bought it was because they were out of another brand and needed it then.

Also just noticed that the label is a sticker. That one is to be worn on your fishing Jersey.

When you have 20 rods in boxes with all kinds of line and weights the stickers are great. That may be for guys getting older and have more then 2or3 rods and use 10 to 12 kinds line.

I had to make my own labels. I'm still experimenting with floro and use mono on some too and don't fish enough to remember what's what. It was a lot easier when I ran 20lbssilver thread on everything..
