looking for good river or ponds to fish in or around san Antonio. get tired of fishing the overcrowded Calaveras and braunig lakes. I know theres spots on the southside of san Antonio where you can fish medina and san Antonio rivers, but you gotta know the person and pay a fee which is fine, but just looking for new spots to fish in general. thanks

millers pond, leon creek, bud lake, brackenridge pak, mission san juan, medina river, paradise cove, guadalupe river, zoler cossing, cibolo creek.... That should get you started. Tight Lines, Alex R. When I lived in SA I lived near a little pond that was had a bunch of small bass 10-16 inches. To find it look on a map where hwy 90 and I-410 come together you will see the small pond its on Lake Vista road. It is public with a small walking trail and playground
