Caught this big girl on a bed yesterday afternoon. She is my new PB and weighed in at 10.05. After we took some pictures, I got some measurements and released her back in the lake. I had set a serious goal about 2 months ago to catch a 10+ this year. I have changed the way I have been fishing and mainly chasing after bigger fish. It's hard to go hours without a bite, especially when catching a lot fish is so much fun.

Thanks everyone!
After working on her for about 45 minutes and shaking the buck off at least 15 times, I let the GF catch the 3 pound buck. After she caught the buck, the female got more aggressive. I worked on the female a little longer and the buck swallowed my bait.
I caught the buck on accident, but this time the female followed him where ever he swam. Ten minutes later I had the big female in my hands.

Very nice. That fish is really good looking. When you catch the buck, sometimes the females dont hang around. I have caught them, and if legal size put them in the livewell for a little bit to try and cathc the female.

I did that on one yesterday also. I put the buck in the livewell, then the female moved and suspended in deeper water. She wouldnt stay near the bed until i put him back in. She was bigger than the one I caught.
