Does anyone know of a good bass pond to fish in Grapevine? Maybe somewhere near the Bass Pro Shops. That's the midway point for me and a buddy of mine. We're looking for a good size pond but still small enough to walk around it and hit all sides as we will be fishing from the bank. Thanks in advance!

I sometimes fish the pond behind the Hilton Hotel (by Grapevine Mills Mall). There are some pretty nice size bass over there.

That is owned by the Ranch property and the Hilton.

Its private for guest use only. I know for fact hilton Security often invites Grapevine PD over to escort folks off of this posted private property!

Good luck.

I got the boot from there a few weeks ago from security. I'm not sure which one threatened to call the cops more, Hilton security or the owner of Austin Ranch next door. Neither were playing. You can tell when somebody throws the "cops" card out there to scare someone. They weren't trying to scare anyone. All biznass.......

Man you got jacked up by Hilton Sec. and Austin Ranch guys! lol Props!

Those Austin ranch guys are less professinal than Hilton guys, they might just beat you down rather than call the cops.

If you wanna fish that pond, get a room at the hilton and they will give you a pass to fish. Its not that great anyways. Not like it used to be.

I have NEVER been hassled when I go there. We park in the woods and fish the far side. Guess I have been lucky. Plus I have not been there since last summer. There were no signs posted where we go either. Kinda hard to have a private pond that's not fenced and has no signage. Oh well, I ususlly have good luck there when I go. I also fish the ponds on the golf course, off the dam of Grapevine lake.

You sir, are a tresspasser! You have some nerve! haha

I have been known to ninja fish myself. But not at that place again man. There are signs, the cops showed them to me. Not easy to see, but trust me, its posted.

"Ninja fish" haha I like that. Thanks for the heads up, I guess I'll stay away from there this year. Seems every place I fish is residents only or private property. Timarron is a nice pond too in Colleyville but once again residents only. Never been messed with there either though.
