Loved the fried ice cream. 2 for 1 Chicken Fried Steak Tuesdays at Judge Beans was a big deal when we moved to the area as well.

Candle Light Inn (Arlington) Flying Tomato (Denton) Pig Stand (all locations) Podna's (Arlington) Rainbow Grill " Rockefellers " I forgot the Italian Inn on E. Lancaster in Ft. Worth. I have yet to have a better pizza. The original Dixie House on Bachman Lake or across the street from Bachman. The original Prufrock Restaurants have never been beat IMHO. The original Wick Fowlers Chili Parlor, the hottest red I have ever eaten.
