Yesterday i had a great day. i woke up and thought it would be a great day to go fishing. i loaded up my gear and my wheelchair and headed to the river. after 5 trips back and forth to the truck i finally had my gear down and set up. it was windy and very cloudy but felt great. around 9:$5 i got the first fish, a buff around 10 pounds. i let it go back and quickly got the rod back out. i was using solar pineapple 11mm popup on 1 rod, a k-1 pineapple 16mm boilie on another rod, and fruity peach maize with a piece of fake maize on another rod.

soon after letting the buff go my missle rod went off. this fish was big and i couldnt stop it. sitting in a wheel chair you cant really fight a fish like you can if you was standing.

i had the drag semi tight but this fish didnt care, peeling off line like nothing. after a a short fight and not gaining i decided to cup the spool well pop goes the hook. i get the rod set up and back out.

a short time later i had another run. when i picked up i could tell it was a heavy fish. the closer it got the heaver it felt. when it came to the surface it was a massive buff. this fish was thick and had some shoulders on it.

after 10 minutes of fighting this fish, my arms was jello. i was finally able to get it in the net. looking at it i thought possible 40 but buffs are hard to tell sometimes on weight.

so i looked around and as usual no one was around, so i took a chance and left it in the net and set my bait bag on the handle and quickly wheeled myself up to the truck to get my scale.

after getting the sling and scale zero out, i picked it up and got a reading of 30 pounds. i was happy.

this is a new pb for this spot. i took a few pics of it laying there but they dont really tell how thick this fish really was.

after releasing it back the rest of the day was pure joy. i caught 3 mid teen commons and the rest buffs for a total of 10 fish from 8:30 to 2pm. i had to leave at 2 to i could get home and get ready for class.

here are a few pics.

ducks kept me entertained with there porn,

here is the 30 buff, pics dont do it justice..
