Looking for some new rods if any one has an extra or one they don't use enough let me know what you have!
Fishing is one thing i can't agree on but catching would be more of what i do.

what are you looking for? I build rods as a side business, might be able to work something out.
I am a part time custom rod builder, Rods By Chris. I specialize in fly rods, but just down right enjoy building custom fishing rods. I see each as a piece of art. rodsbychris@gmail.com

I really appreciate the offer but I have a couple of rod builders I use already. I have checked out your work a few time and i think you wrap a fine rod! Right now I'm just seeing what's out there on the market. Newer or older sage rods let me know thanks.
Fishing is one thing i can't agree on but catching would be more of what i do.

I have a sage GFL 586 DS. This is an 8'6" 2 piece 5 weight rod; barely used in the original aluminum tube with original sock. I traded for this rod a couple of years ago and never used it. I'll let it go pretty cheap. Its a good, well cared for rod; I just dont need. I built the guy a custom rod and took this rod in trade(if I remember correctly)PM me if interested-p-

I have a sage gfl 590 ds, sage 99 in 4 and 5wt, sage txl-f in 1,3, and 4wts and a sage one 6wt. I have a couple of friends that won't bother looking at the forums but they don't mind asking if I have found anything good lately. I'm open to factory built or customs. Thanks.

Darn, Gene! I have a friend of an uncle that is looking for a new Sage rod. I know that your two-piece is way over-priced, but it would be OK to settle for.
Do you have anything else?

LMAO JR. Well, JB, I already have all the custom rods my insurance company says I can keep under one roof. There are six guys that build rods for me, and I just have to turn them away. If they were Orvis or Winston rods, that would be a different matter, you see. My uncle's friend's sister-in-law is looking for one of those! Just sayin'! JR
