Broke off an eye on my Falcon micro guide MH 6'10" rod over the weekend. Unfortunately, it cannot be repaired. So...I'll be getting a new rod today.
Any of you bass fisherman have any advice on what I should get? Not looking to break the bank...prob wanna spend less than $100.
Any tips?

If the eye is all that broke, it can be replaced. Any rod builder or repairman can wrap a new guide for you. You can do it yourself with a little research ad enough patience.

Was it a Falcon Bucoo? I have several of them and have never had a problem. They are great rods for $99.

At the tip, replace it. Otherwise, have someone fix it. Easy fix

It sounds like the problem was self-inflicted and not the fault of the manufacturer, I'd stay with the Bucoo. I have the Bucoos with regular guides and love them.

Yes, per my earlier post...it was self inflicted...never said it was at the fault of the mfr. I have a friend who builds custom rods so I think he can help me out. Said they're easy to fix.

Yea man a good rod guy can have that fixed no problem for much cheaper than replacing the rod. I also noticed that you have a large bullet weight on there. If the weight it above the specs of the rod, it can also lead to broke tips etc when casting and such.
Just a warning...
