Going to Quitman this weekend never been out there before, just wondering is it safe to run and what type of cover is there to fish

One ramp at the dam. From the ramp you can see almost everything to the west. Going back east you can run almost til you get ready to turn north to go up the river. Any of the coves that go north have timber in them. So idle only. If you can go thru the culvert then there are fish on the other side. I have not been there this year. PM me with your phone number and I will talk to you in more detail about running the lake. Can't help much with current fishing conditions only years past.

Went this weekend for a few hours before loading up and going to winnsborow. Caught about 5 small ones and a few crappie on square bill, tx rig, and spinner bait. Also caught a few nice crappie

I think you should just go to holbrook!
15. Signature images may not be larger than 600 pixels wide by 125 pixels tall. This includes logos, photos and other graphics. Also, no more than one row of images are allowed. If you want four or five logos in your signature, reduce their size to fit in one row.

Lived in Quitman my entire life except for the 5 years I spent in college. I have fished that lake a hand full of times. Only go to Lake Quitman for wake boarding and jet skiing lol
