Second time this has happened to me on two different lake. I fish out of a Kayak, therefore really limits the distance, etc. I can fish. Big all Bass Boats come right up within feet casting all around me like I am structure. Think I am going to start carrying bottles rockets!

Come on guys! You have the whole freaking lake!!!!

if it was fork, don't worry it happens when you're in a boat too!! don't let the idiots bother. all of us who get to spend time on water are very fortunate, whether some of us appreciate it and respect others or not.

I missed and lost a lot of fish yesterday, I wish there was someone else I could blame. But it was all me!

Just paddle right over to them and ask them for something to eat or drink...They will move right on down the lake. thumb

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I had a new one Saturday on Palestine. My partner and I were fishing a TINY little pocket during our tournament. Two guys in an aluminum boat were headed straight toward us and I said, "Surely not."

Yep, they did. They drove the big motor to within 30 feet of us and dropped an anchor. Yes, I know how far 30 feet is. And no, I'm not exaggerating.

They act like they don't even know we are there, although they could probably smell what I had for breakfast on my breath.

I looked right at the driver and said, "Gee, it's nice and cozy in here, isn't it?"

Later my partner said, "what the bleep? Do they not know any better?" I told him babies come out of the womb knowing better than that, they're just...well, you know what they are.

bottle rockets are dangerous and illegal in a lot of areas, you might check the local laws before going that route
