This years white bass seem to have a lot of sores, scars, abrasions and holes in them.. Is is from a tough low water spawn or something else? I have talked to a few people who have noticed it as well. I am seeing it on about ten percent of the fish. I'm catching them in shallow water. Some of the shad are on the bank in the mornings on Lewisville. Birds are active..

Probably getting "attacked" by bedding sunfish in the shallow water.
