Word of thanks to Skeeterbite (sp).
We were literally up a creek at Benbrook and my big motor wouldn't start so we were trying to make our way in on the trolling motor. Late in the day and not a lot of boats still out so it wasn't looking good for a tow. Called the marina and they tried to find someone to come out. Skeeterbite was heading out with his two little girls en route to some sandie fishing. He stopped and towed us into the marina. Wouldn't even let me pay him for gas. Thanks again for the help Skeeterbite.
ps - a guy on a jetski came up about that time rom the marina. Didn't get his name but thanks to whoever for taking the time and effort. Also kudos to Don at the marina for their efforts.
pps - we caught some fish - posted in the crappie section - so day was good just ended bad.
