It's a great place to take the kayak. I haven't been there since last summer but I would like to get back there soon.

Mill is awesome! It can be tough sometimes, but when it's good, there's really no better lake for a yak IMO. Some REAL bigguns in there, and a lot of healthy fat chunks too...
I have Monday off too Brandon... If I'm able to go fishing, I was thinking of hitting Athens, but I might change plans and join you..

Alot of big bass and crappie in that lake. Havent been there in years but we had mulitple brush piles in there for crappie. Not sure if you need a permit for a yak but when i went there had to have one for my boat.

If you don't use the ramp, you don't need the permit... That lake is as easy as it gets for launching from the shore...
