My family and I are going to college station this weekend, and are bringing the boat. Good lake to fish near College Station?

Gibbons used to be a little gem, it's pretty run down now. No grass, no pads. I don't know what Somerville looks like right now.

Saved by the Lord... glad to be an Aggie!

Go to Gibbons. I'll be out there myself. The bite has been pretty good.

I go to Gibbons alot, have had great numbers around 10-15 a day. Average of around 2lbs, just watch out for stumps.

As an Ag trying to get a little more serious about fishing I'd be curious to know this too

This weekend I'm actually headed to Lake Travis for a fraternity boat trip. But luckily I'm bringing a date who likes to fish so maybe I'll get some time in there
