The Bass are done with their spawn now it's the Sunnies turn. Mid to late April and like already said up until September or October.

Just curious .....will this time frame for the sunnies spawn be the same for north texas (DFW) area lakes? I fished this weekend and found them scattered/holding in 4-5 foot of water. Thanks

I live in Sherman and found some sunnies on beds today. It seems to me redears spawn earlier than other sunnies around here.

Thanks It could be a little different up north. Water temperature will play a big factor as well as the time of year. There should be not that much of a difference in timing. Just my opinion.

Well here in DFW I have been catching quite a few females chock full of eggs the spawn is almost here, I have seen a few aggressive males making nest to so get ready
Its not about how deep you can fish but by how you wiggle your worm
