Gee Whiz.....I leave the state for a couple of years and nobody talks about fishing the two best lakes in CENTEX! Where y'all at?

Im in Denton...i do miss Lake Belton but we have a few good lakes here

Nice hearing from y'all. I'm living in the St Louis, Mo. area now. Fished once this year.....in the snow at Lake of the Ozarks. They still bite in the snow and didn't see a single ski boat or jet ski!

Ha! MrG. Really miss the fishing down there. Not many lakes close to me up here. Plenty of rivers and streams though. I fish when and where I can, which is not much these days. Nothing like when I lived between those two awesome lakes.

Hi Tommy, good to know your still around. Been slabbing up some monster whts. We're going to the coast today with the TLA. Hope to catch some bull reds and trout. Try and get out and fish if ya get a chance... See ya soon on the water.

If the price is right, I might be willing to give some tips  ....most of my fishing was for crappie and LMB. Mr G is the resident expert for hybrids and whites.
