Welcome to the forum! Arlington has crappie in it. The south end is real shallow, hopefully it's come up a little bit. Good luck!
Did you ever get out to Athens and find the bass?

I live right down the street from Lake Arlington, and I always see people hanging out on the docks, but Im not sure what the success rate is... I couldn't tell you how many white bass I've taken up there and given away after cleaning a haul from Denton creek, and got tired o cleaning, lol. I'm thinking of picking up one of those underwater lights, and tossing one of these new Slab-Me-Silly jigs that just arived in my mailbox...

To get into the creek by boat you need to find a crossing point from the east side to the west side of the lake. There is one, and if you have a pretty good nav system (mine is a HB 898) you can find it just past the south ramp. If you can't find it you'll not be able to get back there from the east side (ramp side) of the lake.
That said, last week I tried to get to the creek. I was unsuccessful due to some sand bars that had shifted further into the lake.
Grenadaslabs seems to be able to get there cause he lives on the lake near the creek. Maybe this rain yesterday will allow better access. If someone knows of a better access route, I'm all ears.

Boats have been going to the creeks for weeks. There are channels that run next to the bank. Should have no troubles if you follow your depth finder... or look at a navionics map before you get out on the water.

I was thinking about spending some time up at LA here this weekend. Never fished there before. I went up there last night and spoke with a guy, he said he never limits. Is that true, are catches slim there? Is there a way to increase yields?
