Have any of you used this app on your iphone or Android? I was playing around with it to see if I like it. So far pretty cool stuff. I�M not trying to promote the App or anything just putting it out there.

That looks pretty cool. What does the app do, e-mail someone? Or text them?

That day I got caught out on Texoma in the lightning storm a couple weeks ago, I remember thinking I should have done this. Luckily I had my phone with me and as soon as it started turning ugly I text a few people and told them if they didn't hear from me in a couple hours to call someone.

I think REV or Preacher use this app. It's not available for Windows.

I couldn't find the app or any apps by Big Tuna LLC in the Android marketplace. According to the Big Tuna Site android development is still in progress.

I use google latitude while I'm out fishing or riding the bike. Family can keep track of me by loading up google maps.

Aggie you get the option to email your info and ill post up the web link and more info to pass on. another thing cool about it, is it saves your trip log.

Seriously, that is very interesting especially if you're going solo. I still do solo once in a rare moon but now I try to only go with a partner or group.

When you're as old as I am you need all the help you can get. I know what some of you are thinking but you're wrong. I'm not able to lift those heavy stringers like I used to do, so I need a couple of guys to tote my stringer for me, LOL.

Just downloaded it. Pretty cool. I used to have a word document with all my float plan info including pictures of me, my truck and boat. Nice to do it from my phone. It is always a good idea to leave a float plan. It helps ease the worries of loved ones at home, which goes a long way when you have to beg for permission to go next time!

It posts your location through google maps and also shows your planned route on the water along with a picture of your yak in the same email. Not only can it be used to send to a person For just a In case..lol.
You can send it to your kayaking buddy's for a kayak trip that's planned.

I'm married also but she doesn't always listen (she's not on here so I'm safe). This is a great ap. I email my float plan to my wife and at least one of my buddies. You never know when something might happen out there on the water. After being a cop for 20+ years in lake communities and having to search for missing folks on the water I realized that could be me so I thought it was a good idea for me to have it. You can't be too cautious folks!!!
