Im fairly new to crappie fishing (bank fishing). And i was wondering what would be the best set up for me when fishing with a jig from the bank. I read alot about using a slip cork/float along with a jig and would like to know the best set up to use this method.
Like a Marine and his rifle there is nothing deadlier than a fisherman and his rod

Slip on a bobber stop.. Add your favorite style slip bobber... Tie on your favorite jig... Catch some of these... Good Luck!

Just buy a bag of rubber bands sfor 50 cents and tie one on your line real tight, trim off the ends and slide it to your desired depth to fish..........real quick, real simple.........very effective

Learn to tie your own bobber stop. I use braid to tie mine on mono main line but there are a lot of materials that will work. If you have to reel that stop through to the rod guides, you will appreciate knowing how to do this as rubber bands don't travel well through the guides http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=bobb...&FORM=VIRE7
