Headed to Lewisville today hoping for some hybrid action with all this wind! Started out with a good sandbass bite, but no hybrids after an hour so we headed on down the bank to a likely lmb hangout. Caught a few not much bigger than my hand and switched over to catfish mode. Ended up catching a nice mix of channels, blues and 2 flatheads with this one taking big fish of the day. Thought about frying it up because I've never tried one, but sure seemed like a big fish to fillet! Released her.

I have never eaten a flat head. But I have not caught one to try LOL
