can you use pedal boats for fishing? what would be reasons not too and what are the requirements to take a pedal boat out on the lake?

or what boat would you guys recomend for 2 or 3 people that is somewhat cheap, we are pretty big guys so we need something with a good weight capacity

Question is how long can you paddle? While there is no doubt you will get into pretty good shape if you do this ...how much time have you and your friends put into this paddle boat. I know of no reason why a paddle boat would not be legal!!!

I would go with a 16ft or larger aluminum boat with a small gas motor....Check on places like Craigs list. You should be able to pick up a boat fairly reasonable! Therse types of boats can be had for really low prices if you shop around.

If that is what you have it will be fine. I believe you do not have to register being its not motorized. Throw some lifejackets in there and go catch em!
As far as buying something cheap it would have to be a 16ft more then likely to be safe and to have enough room
