Went out Sunday morning to beat the wind. Let me say ole Ray Hubbard did not disappoint. Went out around 8:30 am and was done before noon. Thank goodness cause by then the wind was blowing us to Lavon. We were the only boat out there, other than one bass fishing guy hugging the rocks to stay out of the wind. We located some fish, on the South Side of I-30, spot locked the good ole I-pilot and it held us there. It was pretty much a fight in the wind to stay in one area. But they were constantly stacked in huge groups. We continually caught doubles, just me and my wife having a blast. All fish were caught on 3/4 oz., hot lead, white/0/chartreuse, I doctored with sharpies, and custom flies tied by a buddy (thank you). All in chartreuse/white/pink. Yes we kept these fish for a senior citizen group, all hybrids were CPR'd.

Live well Almost full.

Sorry did not take many pictures was busy catching fish!

That might have been me in the bass boat hugging the rocks-I saw a center console holding in one spot catching fish consistently BUT it looked like you were in an ocean. That I-pilot is REALLY impressive as I didn't see any anchor ropes holding this boat in place. I wore my trolling motor out and took a few over the bow before tucking back in behind the rocks.

We drove over RayHubbard on the way home from Texhoma Sat and it looked like white foam on the water, I had to pass on Sat RH due to the wind, we have another trip planned for Tues and Fri. Fri looks ok but a bluebird day which I have not had good luck on. I cant wait to get back to Texhoma!

Yes, I think we saw you out in the edge of the ocean you were taking a beating, before you moved out of the wind. That was probably us, since no one else was around. That I-pilot is impressive! That is the most wind it will hold in, it was struggling to keep us on that spot towards the end when the wind started howling. It was a rough go at it, we never got wet thanks to our CC. But it was also a blast catching them, under those conditions.

Way to go Steve! That boat is perfect for those conditions! Mark and I headed out about 4pm yesterday in his boat. We bass fished around the marina until the wind layed down enough not to take em over the bow and headed out to the big lake. Got on em good but it was mostly a bunch of small whites. It was great to get out and wet a line though! Saturday was miserable out there in my little boat! There were whitecaps on both sides of the bridge! bouncy
