Kicker Bass

What's your definition of a "Kicker" bass?

Big bass in the sack over 5-lbs. -or- The bass that replaced a smaller bass in the livewell once a limit has been reached.

********

Cull Bass

Everyone knows that culling is when you catch a bigger fish than the one in your livewell after you have reached your limit.

Is a "cull bass" the bass you pulled out of the livewell and threw back into the lake -or- Is a "cull bass" the upgrade bass (the one you keep)?

********

Lake Names

Sometimes the word "LAKE" is before the name and sometimes it's after the name.

Anyone know why it's before on some and after on others?

Lake Whitney
Lake Fork
Lake Texoma
Lake Ray Hubbard
Lake Ray Roberts
Lake Lavon

vs.

Inks Lake
Grapevine Lake
White Rock Lake
Hubbard Creek Lake
Wright Patman Lake
Canyon Lake
Calaveras Lake
Joe Pool Lake
Fairfield Lake

I don't fish tournaments but the word 'cull' means to select or remove from the group so it would seem to indicate the fish that was removed.

This may get some disagreement, but how about this, there is only one true lake in the state of
Texas, Lake Caddo. The rest are actual reservoirs, (man Made) check it out.

I agree with HOSS on the lake thing.

To cull is to get rid of or discard. I personaly throw back the small ones smile

Kicker is relative to the water your fishing & conditions. But to make it simple a bigger than average fish can be considered a kicker.
