The rooster tail was just inconsiderate. Bully for him. Hope he got a chuckle out of it. Boys will be boys.

We were sitting there waiting kind of two rows back. And my partner said the worst thing that could happen is someone lined up on the left wanting to go right. And low and behold it happened. There was also an idiot that took off before he got to the buoy. Probably more than one, but I could see the one put it on plain right behind us and coming to the right. Don't blame the tournament director. He made a good decision on the trailering, he didn't think about that fact that most boats would use the same couple of ramps and that they would act like a bunch of idiots. I did get a kick out of the Bullet sitting right next to the bouy so he could go first He knew where he needed to be. But then there were guys in slow boats sitting at the front to. That was not good. SHould have lined up by boat speed. LOL.

We left buck. How bout giant concrete pillars staring you down. Was shaking like a dog ******* peach seeds. I had to let my partner run trolling motor for a min. Too close for me.

I fished a lot of shotgun starts in the 80's. Someone mentioned Laser boats, I ran a Laser and also a Kevlar Hydrosport, both really fast boats for there time.

In those days a fast boat really helped. Then Angler Choice and other team tournaments came along we fished back then started drawing for starts.

It was fun, and somewhat dangerous I guess, but we were used to shotgun starts and I don't recall getting roosted bad but I do recall catching air a few times but I don't remember any of them being to crazy. But I was young and dumb and may not have known what crazy was.

I don't tournament fish anymore, but it would be fun the put my 29 pitch 4 blade TXP on my Blazer and let the big mare run in shotgun start.

Thanks, Billy

are those actual stats on your ride? I love my 74 mph 520, but my heart still nags at an Allison.

I was in it at jorden park. Not that bad but I stayed in the back and let the young guns lead the way. I saw a couple of boats taking video so there should be one somewhere

I like the shotgun take-offs, im usually in front of the pack. What i dont understand is when you see the guys with the little boats with 150's sitting in front of the pack right before take-off. They know they are going to get past and maybe wet, so stay in the back of the pack and let the big boys battle it out. Just my opinion.....

Maybe a little off. I've only had the ProMax out a couple times. It does feel like a drag boat with a 26p but the top speed with it is only a shade over 80. I am still experimenting with a 28p chopper. Should be a little slower out of the hole but once on pad it screams.

The big boys might be faster in open water but they needed the little 150 to show them the way once it got into the thick stuff!!! It reminded me of my motocross days going 40 riders deep into the first turn at a AMA National!!! I wasn't scared especially when they started backing off it just put a smile on my face cause I know way through the timber I just had to keep Barrett calm..... LOL!!

This is great. Can't imagine all yall going through buck at once. There was only 200 boats in tourney and of course everyone goes to three ramps lol.
