Headed to lewisville for some sandies and hybrids. This is my first time on e lake since we just moved down. His first time fishing on a boat ever.m home to hook a few and get some good pics posted. I know it will be windy but going to drift the humps and see what we can stir up. Anyone have any pointers for today let me know. I have monitoring the forum so I have the basics. We Are in a tracker pro team 175 red. Stop by and say hello if you see us and are out. Jason and Lakoda Wish us luck.

Today's forcast is about the same as yesterday and looking at Tawakoni and Hubbard yesterday driving over them there's no way that I would put my 20' CC in them, Hubbard & Tawakoni yesterday was an Ocean.

I appreciate the honesty, but no I am scared. Maybe we will tuck away in a cove and find a catfish or two then. Haven't been out in 5 months with my job transfer and move so I am itching and can't hold out anymore

If you have to go, stay on the South side of the lake. Launch at Lewisville Lake park in Lewisville. That way you won't have to run far too get out of the wind. Be careful.

Ever catch anything or did you just take a windy boat ride? We'll be out there on Friday of this week. Hopefully the spawn ends early this week!

I bet it was. I imagine that it would be uncomfortable fishing even if I had a 100mph suit or a big boat. However, if it had one of these bad boys. Nah!

Drove out to Lewisville Sat a.m. & it looked like "Victory at Sea" out there. White caps rolling in non-stop. Waited at the ramp drinking coffee when 2 others drove up & did the same. Should have had something stronger than coffee.
Never launched. Maybe this week some time.
