DON'T GET CONFUSED BETWEEN MY PERSONALITY AND MY ATTITUDE. MY PERSONALITY IS WHO I AM...MY ATTITUDE DEPENDS ON WHO YOU ARE

I heard about the start - Texas Team Trail at Ray Roberts.

I heard Jordan was a real joke.

so they allowed trailering because of the high winds... thinking of boater safety... yes it was a mad house (we hung back) but think about this.. is the TD to blame? i dont think that he is... if everyone would have just taken the time to "do the right thing" this post wouldnt be here... what if they had someone at each ramp and still made the participants go in order? would anyone complain then? yes someone would ....

No doubt the TD could have used better judgement. But, what does it say about the participants???????

That might have been me if your talking about the group starting from the State Park. Me and my partner were completely soaked. Fortunately we were waring full rainsuits. There wasn't a square inch of dry carpet anywhere on my boat. This happened less than 3 seconds into the start. The idiot cut across the front of me in full roost. Very dangerous as I could not see a thing and couldn't back off because of all the boats behind me. Why this guy positions himself on the right side of the lead boats and proceeds to cross between us to go left, I will never understand. And why full roost immediately from the start. Was it deliberate? I wish I had a Go Pro video of the start to get this guy's TX number and report him to the tournament director. So dangerous. So foolish!

Don't be so hard on the TD, running in the wind would have been a mess also, he can't help that we all act like maniacs. If you didn't know what was about to happen when 100 are so boats are pushed up to the buoys revving up engines then you are an idgit. We all could have went in a calm orderly manner but I didn't see many volunteers for that. If you ate that much rooster tail you were hammered down just like the rest of us.

I'm not complaining about the TD or the shotgun start. It was a thrill. I'd do it again. We laughed about it after we settled down and dried out. I'm upset at the guy who did a very dangerous thing crossing in front of all these boats. Why didn't he position himself on the left side of the pack as that was the direction he went? The rooster tail was just inconsiderate. Bully for him. Hope he got a chuckle out of it. Boys will be boys.

Anytime you leave a lock in a river tournament... If you've never done that, you are missing out!

Fished BASS on the Red River. There was a certain Mississippi Skeeter that left the lock and was maybe 10 mph faster than all the rest of the boats. After that day we called the guy "cheater".
