I was thinking about heading early Sunday morning to try my luck. I'm primarily a LMB fisherman, but it would be nice to get into some crappie. I'll be fishing from a kayak. I've never fished there before. What should I look for? Any log jams or anything like that where crappie will be holding? Will a square bill and texas rig be my best bets for largemouth? Color preferences?

Texas rigged watermelon / chartreuse has worked for me. If you are starting from Ponderosa go left toward the lake and hit the lilly pads also if they have come in.
