Cedar Creek Lake Friday April 5th with Don Prue, Milton Meadows and Wayne Kilgo. Just a little cool and breezy at 9:15 this morning as we headed across the lake from Don�s Port to the tennis court. Unable to mark fish, we moved on to Enchanted Island and rock pile but still no fish. Found a few at the game warden but action just too slow so it was on to Merrimac and finally to the 3 jugs. It took us awhile to find what we were looking for and at the 3 jugs area it was nonstop action.
With our limits(100)in the ice chest, we headed to the ramp at 1:30. The fish were holding in 17 to 19 feet of water and all caught vertical jigging a Rainbow Chartreuse Shad Slab with some on a chartreuse cheater above the slab.
Thank goodness we didn�t have to fillet fish today as we had a friend in Hubbard who had ask for some fish so we dropped the ice chest at his door.

Glad y'all found em. I was out from 5:30 PM to about 7:30 PM and caught 40 at Dam Ridge and Dam Ridge by the Pole. Hooked up with RHORHO and friend Guy and showed them the 2 spots. They were hauling them in. We caught fish in 13 to 18 fow.

You never know if fish will be in the same place the next day but it never hurts to take a look. With high wind forecast for Saturday, I doubt you could stay on the fish at the 3 jugs. I would fish the south end of the lake and target areas that have some protection from the south wind. Good luck:
