The lake is way down. Last year at this time the best bass fishing spot I found was in rock creek above the 533 bridge. I went by there yesterday and the creek is dry. I hooked 6 bass over 5 LB there last year at this time.

I did catch an 18 inch LM in Neely Slough 10 days ago. I won't know until I go out this afternoon what the water temp is and if the Bass have moved shallow like last year. Most of the good places spots last year are now dry land.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

I'm thinking about getting out to PK next weekend. I've heard of some pretty big sacks being caught out there. Last time we were there, we caught a ton of fish off that rocky point over by the breakers. That was before the water level dropped so much though. Good luck and let me know how you do.

The boy scout camp across from the cliffs has always been a good place too.

I would find some water about 10ft that is close to a sandy or gravel shallow bank.... I bet the big girls are staging up or some already on beds

I heard the back of Cedar creek is turning out some fish on spinner baits and square bills.
