I normally launch my kayak from ramp 11 and hit the stumps with minnows around the ramp area. My question is, how far down the river, towards the lake, do I need to travel to find the stumps that are in deeper water? Like the 15-25ft depth tree stumps. I have decent success around the shallower stumps, but I would imagine that the deeper water might be holding some bigger fish. Thanks ahead of time for any responses.
Have a good one,
Daniel

I measured 14-18 feet of water in the river channel above Rebecca Creek landing in January. I have not been back lately but I imagine you can still find deeper water within 1/4 mile down river.
