?
With regard to the amount of last night's rain that fell onto the watershed, will the water clarity in the LOWER part of Dunlap be conducive to catching a few fish) by tomorrow (Thursday)? Just asking for opinions based on past experience/observations.
Thanks

Right now we are getting a super good soaking. dance2 I got a little over an inch last night. cheers As for Dunlap it usually takes a couple of days for the water to clear up providing it is an inch or so amount of rain. hmmm If we get 3 or more inches of rain it could take up to 4 or 5 days. It all depends on how much rain we get. eeks I hope we get a whole lot more. Bring it on. banana banana (Double Rain Dance). rockon

do you think the same will be the case for the San Marcos River?
I thought the San Marcos was slower and might take longer for the water to clear than the Guadalupe.
Thoughts?

Most likely it will be in same condition so will be most creeks due to flood and overflowing water . Best bet right now would be to fish the ponds they seems to produce good fish after rain .

The San Marcos area really got hammered. I would give it a few days to clear up. The water in the San Marcos River is some of the clearest in Texas. eeks

Just saw both Dunlap and Mcqueeney and it will be at least three days before the water clears up. Water conditions are super MUDDY. hammer
