Thanks "Catfish hunter" for the reply. "CK" We got a pretty good soaking around 11:30pm. I will check the rain meter in the morning. I hope we get a lot more. (Triple Rain Dance)

Way to go BAF!! Really nice catch. Luv the pics. Almost time to meet up and hit the creeks. I think the time may be upon you to do so. I've been checking the creek, fishing very little due to my broken foot and a 1 month old baby, but I'm seeing some large bass movement and also large cichlids. Banker will know exactly where I'm talking about since that is where I always end up seeing him. I normally wade fish but I'm reluctant right now due to my foot. I don't want to make it into a life long pain and I also don't want to fall into the water. It pains me to check a certain area, since that is where the large bass and cichlids hold, but it could be a lot worse. Nice catch BAF. The wife got orders and we will PCS out of here at the end of June. We will have to get out there so I can fish a few new areas. Bring your scale. I would love to leave with a fly rod record or two. Mike

Thanks "Kethn"! You would be surprised how many Crappie I have caught on the bait of champions. (Worms). However for Crappie nothing beats the All American Jig!

I have not been hitting the Crappie holes the last couple of days because of work. Looks like I will have some time this next week. Have you done any good on the Crappie. Matt saw you guys last week on the east side. Will let you know how we do.

Thanks Curtis for the reply. I have fished Mcqueeney a lot and now that I have a pretty nice place to go I will be fishing it more. As for the Crappie I had one super day last week where we boated 40. If your buddy was in a Tracker then that was us. The last two times I was fishing for Crappie they were super hard to find. They were not in the usual spots. Oh well that's fishing. Let me know how you do. Side Note: I think the Spawn on the Crappie is either over or almost coming to an end.

Thanks Chuck for the report. Looks like the wind is going to be somewhat a factor the early part of this week. Going to try to make it out.
