It absolutely poured yesterday evening in Chapel Hill and along the north end of Lake Tyler. The ditch in front of my house was a rushing river, and that only happens when we get over an inch of rain in a very short period of time. It was one of the hardest rains I've seen in a long time...completely knocked out my satellite reception for at least 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, Lake Tyler has only come up less than half an inch.

I give up.

That was a really hard rain. Doesn't seem like Tyler will ever make it back to pool. I drive over it every day on the way to work and barely noticed a difference this morning.

Didley squat here in Belton... weather report was calling for 2.3" and I was fired up... but ended up with just enough to get the ground wet enough to stop work for a few days.
