Shakey's Pizza
They had one hour long movies playing in one section and games in another. Don't remember the food, just how much fun the place was.

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

When we wanted seafood it was always Zuider Zee (sp) in Dallas or the Spanish Gallion.

Others were:

Kips
The Bull Pen (Arlington)
Shakeys Pizza
Can't remember the name of the catfish restaurant that was on grapevine lake but lines were always way out the door on Friday nights

Some little greasy spoon diner off of I-35 just south of Waco. Good breakfast

Of course, all of these have been closed for years

As someone else mentioned, Chelsea Street Pub had great nachos and good drinks. Remember the one called "The Funeral"? We sure won a lot of pitchers of beer there doing the tequila shot, whole jalapeno eating and beer chug, lol

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

El Fenix Buffet at Hampton & Illinois in Oak Cliff, my favorite all time place to eat.
When I was real young my mom and dad would take me and my two brothers to Griffs on Buckner Blvd. in Pleasant Grove for our 10 cent hamburgers. A weekly treat we really looked forward to. It is still there.

Stagecoach Inn on Buckner right by the Buckner Drive in, just north of the Circle Grill. Little jukeboxes in every booth. Waitresses with hair piled up on their heads, chewing gum and calling you 'hon. Chicken fried steak and fries every time.
Moon's over in Casa View.
Catfish Corner on Beltline and Town East back when that was in the sticks.
