 braid to floro ?

i am new to braid i have 2 of my rods spooled with braid and tied my normal floro leader to the braid and both of them have cut the floro at the knot i am using the double uni knot to tie them is there a better knot to use i also am using 15# braid and 30# floro http://www.netknots.com/fishing_knots/double-uni-knot/

I use heavier line but always use a double palomar knot, and never a slip.

Don't forget braid doesn't really like to hold knots...you should use a lock knot before you cut off excess line.

i havent had a problem with the knot coming undone both lines the knot on the braid is still there it just cut through the floro

You can also use the improved Albright knot.

I have had that problem with double uniknots, mono is worse than flouro. I started using the Slim Beauty knot. I tie 20lb braid to 20 to 40lb mono and flouro and haven't had it cut through yet, in almost a year of use.
