Guide customers Jeff & Lisa Thompson from Colorado with a HUGE big fish day. Lake Fork is on fire. The pattern on lake fork right now is Location Location Location you have to be in the right areas to catch these big girls.....I am fishing staging areas where the bass will be gorging on shad and crawfish before they pull up and spawn, You want to look for ditches and drains leading up to spawning flats and also secondary points close to spawning flats I'm catching most of the fish in 5' to 15' depending on water clarity. On sunny days you will have to slow down and fish Watermelon red 6"lizards C-rigged with a 1oz weight and a 3'leader on 20# test line, and Texas rigged creatures on a 1/4oz weight, and 1/2 Texasmoke colored Jigs next to stumps laydowns and sudden drops. On cloudy days I'm using moving baits 2.5 square bill cranks in sexy shad,3/8oz home made vibrating jigs in a shad pattern ,1/2oz spinnerbaits shad pattern....covering lots of water. Good Luck and catch a HOG.

Pack I've been catching fish on your jig.....I throw that sucker into places I wouldn't have thrown a regular jig.....no hang ups!

Packman, how about some details to go with your photos? Detailed fishing reports with depths, types of water, lures, presentation etc. stay in the Bass Section. Otherwise, it goes to Plugs and Announcements. What a day! I'm envious. UPDATE: Mark will add details and a comprehensive fishing report. Right after he finishes Supper. Imagine that!

I met them at the academy in Amarillo on their way to Fork. Nice couple and enjoyed talking to them, they were geeked about fishing with you!
